What's Train the Painter?

Train the painter is an internationally recognised industrial painter training programme, created by Corrodere Academy , which is accredited and approved by Lloyds Register.

The training has been developed by industry experts in response to the strong demand for certification within the industrial coatings industry that now requires personnel working within the road, rail, renewables and oil and gas industries to obtain professional specified certificates.

THERMAL COATING SPRAY

Course Overview

Thermal metal spraying has long been used in the protective coatings industry, particularly in the oil and gas and ministry of defence sectors. This course has been developed to assist in understanding specific types of thermal metal spray and improve the skills of applicators.

Course Delivery

The course has been developed and accredited in conjunction with TSSEA and meets the requirement of ISO 14918:2018 thermal spraying qualification testing of thermal sprayers.

Prerequisites

In order to attend and complete the Train the Painter - Thermal Metal Spraying Applicator modules delegates must;

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have completed the Train the Painter Bronze or other approved training programmes.

Please Note

Upon successful completion of the Train The Painter - Thermal Metal Spraying Applicator modules, delegates will be awarded with a TTP ID Card and Certificate lasting 5 years.
